Your privacy

We respect and take your privacy very seriously, just as we do ours. We will never sell, pass on, distribute, transfer, or otherwise trade your material or information with a third party, nor will we distribute your personal information to, or with, anyone else in any way. We will not store your material, except for the sole purpose of delivering it to you on portable media such as DVD, USB, CD or digital jpeg image files, or on video format via the internet, or on our local server if you so request.
Your images will not be stored on any public computer system or internet server. All your images will be deleted from our computers after payment has cleared and twenty five days after delivery. All your originals will then be returned to you in good order as far as humanly possible.

Copyright information

You agree that when you place an order with us you declare that the materials you are supplying to be scanned, or otherwise be converted, are totally free of copyright, or that you are the owner of all copyright that exists, and that you will fully indemnify and protect us from any actions related to any copyright infringement. We will not scan, copy or convert any image if the copyright does not belong to you, our customer, and you agree that we cannot and will not be held responsible for any breach of any copyright so caused.

Adult and sexually explicit material

We will not copy, convert or scan any adult or other sexually explicit material. If we have to return any material deemed unsuitable for copying then we reserve the right to charge an administration fee.

Loss or damage

We will do our best to take the utmost care when handling and protecting your material while it’s in our possession at our secure premises. All material is photographically recorded on arrival before, and after, the packaging is opened. As we do not have any control while your material is in transit via the postal service to us, or back to you, we cannot, and will not, be held liable whatsoever for any loss thereof, or damage incurred to your goods while in transit, or while being handled or converted in our studio. We strongly recommend that you use a traceable, reputable courier service for the delivery of your material to us.

Please note that all prices quoted on this website are subject to change without notice. All errors and omissions excepted (E&OE).

Payment

You only need to pay once your order has been completed and you have received our invoice by email. Payment is required on presentation of the invoice.
Note: We will dispatch or deliver your order once payment has been received.

• By credit card - PayPal, VISA or Mastercard (on request). Credit card fees will apply.

New Zealand Privacy Act 1993

Under the Privacy Act 1993, we advise you that the Photofriend website may contain applications that collect personal information about you so that we can process your orders and debit your credit card. If you pay by using your credit card, our systems do NOT store your credit card number and expiry date, or any other information. You will type these directly into the fully and highly secure, encrypted payment page of our payment-processor providers. Your credit card details are never stored on our system.
